What’s happening in horticulture

As the weather has started to warm up this week, Year 10 has spent their horticulture lessons to great use.  The group has been repairing our field and replanting a bare patch where a skip had been. To start with we fenced the area off to protect it. We scarified the soil with rakes and forks, removed any stones or weeds. Then we scattered grass seed evenly and gently walked it in under our wellies. Watch this space for green luxuriant updates, weather permitting!

Students develop very high levels of positive behaviour and feel extremely safe. They are very considerate, very respectful and caring of others and highly positive about learning.
