About Us

St Philip’s School is a special educational needs school for young people aged 9 -19 years. All our students have an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP).

St Philip’s School is committed to providing our pupils with an individual approach to learning that is specific to their needs

School Council

Our School Council meets to discuss issues that have been raised by their peers and bring about positive change. The council enables open discussion, advocacy, and a platform for our pupils to know they are listened to, valued, and that their opinions matter.

We currently run two school councils, one for students in Key Stages 2-3 and the other for students in Key Stages 4-5.

Students are elected onto school council at the start of each academic year and they will sit on the council for a term of one year.
