Staff Skerry rowing challenge
On the 10th May nine members of St Philip’s School staff took to the water in our very own Skerry, the “Caroline”. The boat was named after former Orchard Hill CEO Dame Caroline Allen when she stepped away from her role in 2019.
The crew, some of whom had never rowed before, were raising money for the Royal Marsden Hospital in Banstead.
The conditions were tough with high winds and a busy river, however we’re delighted to announce that they completed their 10 mile challenge.
