Primary Art Fun

Primary Art is full of sensory, messy exploration. We have spent the first half of the Autumn term thinking about the question ‘Who Am I?’. The sensory parts of our lesson allow us to think about our likes and our dislikes, whilst using our senses – touch, hear, smell, see and sometimes taste – to explore the world around us.

Our art lessons are very varied: we have enjoyed making bags filled with water, paint, oil and glitter, and throwing cotton balls soaked in paint as hard as we can onto paper. We have also had fun carving pumpkins!

Our pupils love getting messy in Art. It’s a great way to get creative and most importantly, have fun!
