Reward Trip for excellent attendance

Pupils who have demonstrated excellent attendance so far this academic year, were selected to attend an Attendance Reward Trip on Tuesday 25th March.

The group headed off in the school minibus to Thames Young Mariners with Surrey Outdoor Learning and Development Team (SOLD). There they enjoyed an action-packed day of activities including archery, a challenge course and team tasks.

Everyone had a great day in the sunshine and got stuck into the activities. There was also a learning aspect to the trip and pupils were asked questions about their day to give feedback to the organisers but also to encourage them to think about what they had learnt.

Questions included what was their favourite activity and what was the biggest challenge. They were also asked if they had learnt any new skills or discovered a hidden talent. Some even said they would like to take up a new hobby as a result of the day.

Well done to all our Excellent Attendance Reward winners. Keep it up!
