Plant Donation Thanks

A big thank you to Miranda and the team at B&Q in Leatherhead who have kindly donated trays and trays of flowers and plants to St Philip’s.  The flowers and plants will be re-planted during horticulture lessons into hanging baskets and flowerbeds and will brighten up the school site as we approach the darker, winter months.

We have lots of outdoor space at St Philip’s and many students really enjoy looking after the site during horticulture lessons.  This donation will keep the team busy and help them to learn lots of new skills while also reducing waste, which is great for the environment.

We look forward to working with B&Q Leatherhead more in the future.

Students develop very high levels of positive behaviour and feel extremely safe. They are very considerate, very respectful and caring of others and highly positive about learning.
