Pinocchio Theatre Trip

At the beginning of December the Primary Department went to see ‘Pinocchio’ at the Unicorn Theatre in London.  The pupils all enjoyed themselves and it was great to see Izzy, a former pupil who is now 34 and works as an usher at the Unicorn Theatre.

The trip is part of our ongoing relationship with the Unicorn Theatre as an Access Partner and we look forward to future trips later in the year.

As a school we are committed that every pupil will experience at least one theatre trip every year.  So far this year in addition to Pinocchio; 4M pupils went to watch Pericles at the Riverside Studios and KS4 pupils have been to see ‘A Christmas Carol’ at the Rose Theatre.  We have trips planned to the National Theatre and Shakespeare’s Globe later in the year.

Students develop very high levels of positive behaviour and feel extremely safe. They are very considerate, very respectful and caring of others and highly positive about learning.
