Path building: part 1

Students in year 11 are putting their horticulture skills to great use repairing a path.

The path has become a muddy track as it is very well used.  After collecting tools and reviewing safety rules we started digging. We need to cut down 4-6 inches, lay a layer of hardcore and top this with a layer of gravel. We made an excellent start working proficiently as a team. We will restart the work after the Easter break.

Students develop very high levels of positive behaviour and feel extremely safe. They are very considerate, very respectful and caring of others and highly positive about learning.
