Media Day at The Stoop!

OHC&AT’s Digital School took a group of lucky pupils to The Stoop, home to Harlequins women’s Rugby Team, where they took part in their media day. In preparation for the trip, pupils prepared some questions for the players; they were particularly interested to find out how they made it onto the team and if rugby was their full time job.

They had access to all areas and whilst taking a tour of the pre-match changing room, the team popped in to say “Hi!” which was a lovely surprise. Pupils got to watch the team train and understand the high level of fitness required to play at a professional level.

After their training session, the team spent half an hour chatting to pupils, who were thrilled to meet the mighty Harlequins. There was plenty of time to ask questions and take some selfies!

Thank you, Harlequins, for an inspiring and memorable day out.

OHC&AT’s Digital School host a community digital hub every Monday during term time at The Stoop’s Media Centre for schools and community groups to book sessions. A video of the trip will be available to view soon, so watch this space.

Students develop very high levels of positive behaviour and feel extremely safe. They are very considerate, very respectful and caring of others and highly positive about learning.
