Immersive Easter Experience for Primary learners
Our Primary learners took part in an immersive Easter experience at the Kings Centre to learn about the Easter story. They were guided by actors as they visited various stations recreating the Easter story.
Their first stop was with a servant who was tidying up after the Last Supper shared between Jesus and his Disciples. They also met a Roman Centurion who had been one of the soldiers who arrested Jesus. Later they met Mary Magdalene who told how she had found the tomb empty where Jesus’ body had been laid to rest and finally they met Peter, a fisherman and friend of Jesus who spoke about sharing Jesus’s message with others.
It was a great way for the learners to experience the Easter story in an interactive way and complemented their learning in class. There was also the opportunity to take part in activities such as using a feather quill to write with.
