Former student is successful in his supported internship

We are always delighted to hear about former students especially when they are doing as well as Xavie, who was in Post-16 at St Philip’s. Xavie is in his second year of a supported internship and this year involves work placements. Xavie found a placement at a hotel in Kensington as a concierge aid and he has been doing really well, including getting to Kensington by himself.

At the beginning of February, the hotel offered Xavie a 2 day permanent contract with the concierge and a “lobby ambassador”. His parents say they have never seen anyone so happy to go to work!
