Eco Ed update

Our Eco Education scheme (click here to read about it) has gone from strength to strength.
Each week, a small cohort from each year explores the benefits of connecting with nature. This is generally offsite in the many beautiful environments we have on our doorstep, including Epsom Common, Ashtead Common, Oxshott Heath and Epsom Downs. Each session ends with a campfire in our newly refurbished forest school area.
Activities have included tree climbing, den building, discussing ecology and exploring our senses. This all raises awareness of how important being outdoors is for our mental health and wellbeing. We’ve had positive feedback from students, all eager for more!

Students develop very high levels of positive behaviour and feel extremely safe. They are very considerate, very respectful and caring of others and highly positive about learning.
