Bumper set of exam results

Well done to all our pupils receiving exam and accreditation results this summer. Mr Walsh was pleased to hand out some very thick envelopes full of certificates to pupils in Year 10 upwards.

He said, “I am delighted with this year’s results. They are a real testament to the hard work of our pupils and show how much progress they have made since joining St Philip’s.”

Some pupils in Year 10 gained Entry Level and Functional Skills certification, which means they can aim for a higher level in Year 11. For our Year 11 leavers they are able to take their certificates on to college and build on their success. Every certificate gained acts as a stepping stone for the next stage of education or training for pupils.

Many congratulations.
