Animal Care visit to Merrist Wood College

Students in Years 10 & 11 who are studying Animal Management visited Merrist Wood College near Guildford. As part of their AQA course, students need to visit another animal care setting in addition to our own.

They were welcomed by Christine Hill, the Schools Partnership Executive, who gave them an overview of the College and courses offered.

Together, they toured the Animal Management facilities, and students were delighted to see some familiar and some not so familiar animals.

It was a great opportunity to apply knowledge learnt in the classroom and gain a deeper understanding of post-16 options.
